How It Works
Every card is two conversations.
A W2YF card is folded, and the fold is perforated. The back half is a postcard, ready to tear off and send back. Every pack has four cards, four envelopes, and eight stamps. We bought the stamps so nobody has to make a special trip. The obstacles are gone. What is left is the good part: everything you need to tell someone how you feel and what you want to say.
1. Write your letter
Open the card. The inside panel is yours. Say the thing you keep meaning to say.
2. Make the front yours
Close it and keep going. The front is blank on purpose. Write, doodle, draw the night sky. There is no printed greeting, because we do not know your friends. You do.
3. One stamp to send. One to send back.
Every card travels with two stamps. One goes on the envelope. The second slides inside the card. That one belongs to your friend.
4. Send it
Mailbox, post office, or save the stamps and put it straight into their hand.
5. Mail received
Your friend opens a real letter. And there is the second stamp, out of the envelope and waiting for its job.
6. Tear along the fold
One tear along the perforation and the back half becomes a postcard. Your letter stays with them. The postcard is coming back to you.
7. Write it. Or draw it.
A few lines is plenty. A drawing says just as much. It is their white space now.
8. Peel. Press. Send it back.
The stamp was in the envelope the whole time. No drawer to dig through. No trip to buy postage. The ritual stays, the errand goes.
And this is what comes back. Notes, doodles, polaroids, whatever your friends have to say.
You didn't just write to someone. You made writing back the easy part.
